Aluminium lugs are a cost-effective solution for cable termination. They’re more cost efficient that copper connectors and can be manufactured to suit various custom designs.
At Electrical Connections Ltd, we manufacture our aluminium lugs using solid aluminium cable lugs & rods and high-conductivity aluminium. Forged from solid material and with sealed palm ends, these lugs are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. We supply these lugs along with a jointing compound in the barrels for easy, safe and efficient application.
Our reference tables include the list of all available standard sizes. Crimping is done using standard hex dies and aluminium cable preparation. If your job requires specific solutions, we can accommodate special manufacturing requests.
Specially Manufactured Aluminium Lugs
Besides special requests on size and crimping, we supply one bolt compression terminals or lugs for AAC, AAAC and ACSR named conductors. We manufacture these terminals from high-conductivity aluminium cable lugs & rods or tubes. Just specify the particular conductor you need in the application.
