Overseas Projects (SGCC)

State Grid has built 10 transnational transmission lines with neighboring countries including Russia, Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, with electricity trading volumes accumulating to over 31 TWh. Currently, State Grid is advancing the feasibility study of China-Nepal and China-Korea Interconnection projects. The company has also played an active role in cross-border interconnection projects. The Mindanao-Visayas Interconnection Project (MVIP), a key project under the MOU on Energy Cooperation between China and the Philippines, has begun full-scale construction, and the Ethiopia-Kenya DC Power Transmission Project has been completed.
